Perfect Summer Day is my newest painting, created on custom built/primed canvas using layers of oil paints and glazes. This perspective of this composition was inspired by working plein air along the west coast of Oregon, Washington and British Columbia, where great rollers relentlessly shape the sandy and rocky shorelines.
