"Glaciation" is an acrylic painting completed a few days ago. I am a painter of waters, waters that have always inspired me. For this painting, I wanted to capture this moment at the start of winter when the river is not yet frozen, but the cold is already well established all around. Thus water, drizzle, ice and snow appear to form a most magical landscape. The challenge is great and the work meticulous. Small brushes are common.
