This fabulous Santa Fe woman was great fun to meet. Tiny and craggy, she had such great spirit and character with her cigarette waving with each gesture. I had done a 20x16 pastel of her head and hands, but couldn't resist doing a full length against that cracked stucco wall and the brilliant blue sky. She was all boots and hat!
