I was photographing eggs to use as a reference for my students. One feel on the floor and I said, "there's the painting".
I then dropped another egg on my counter top and got the photo that I painted. The name of the painting, "Life is Fragile", came to me immediately. "Life is" has become a series of work that I am doing. I loved painting the egg's transparency and am very happy with the drama and meaning of the piece.
