Growing up on the coast has given me a deep love and appreciation for the ocean. When I was a kid we lived across the street from the marsh and I would go clam digging and fishing every day after school. As a teen I learned how to surf and it only solidified my love for the ocean. This painting represents my connection to my roots roots, born in Jupiter, Florida and growing up in Wilmington, North Carolina and the affinity I have with coastal living.
