the painting was inspired by a night out in a nearby town, I saw the band playing as I walked by heading back to the car, it stopped me in my tracks. I always have a sketch book on me, so I did a couple quick sketches, took some photos. I still felt the need to go back later and do a few studies for color. Capturing that radiant light and motion was most important to me. It is Oil on Linen panel
