My son and his family live near Puget Sound (thus "the Sound of Clouds" title). I painted this piece from an interpretation of a photo I took many years ago after they first relocated to the Pacific Northwest. I savor their scenery which is vastly different from my midwest landscape. This painting was sold to an Oregon collector shortly after I painted it. It is pastels on archival paper.
