Betelgeuse Supernova

Betelgeuse Supernova, Nocturne
Betelgeuse Supernova
This depicts the massive slashpile burned in Sourdough Canyon during winter of 2023 (it burned for 3 months). Skiing the groomed trail, I was accompanied by the Orion constellation most nights. It has recently been observed that Betelgeuse, (the central red star) is nearing the end of its life. If we’re incredibly lucky, we will witness it supernova in our lifetime.
