This painting of a Dutch Ewer creates a setting reminiscent of the Dutch masters using a "Dutch Ewer" as it centerpiece in a neutral background flanked by colorful apricots and grapes setting off the beauty of the blue and white art rounded porcelain shape coupled with the reflective brass bringing all the pieces of the composition together. I lived in Holland and inspired of my many memories living there and this piece is a culmination of that experience.
