Armstrong, The Voice of Gibraltar

This painting was inspired by a photograph taken in the mid 70's. This is the lead singer of a rock band I was in, and he still is one of my best friends. It was painted on a framed mirror that I acquired in a junk store. The reference photo was shot by another good friend, Tony Schanuel, who photographed our band many times. I used spray paint, gouache, and acrylic.
