Time to Go - Through this piece, the artist tells the story of her mother's last moments when one of her "Mom's hawks" landed on the bird bath outside the window, paused briefly, made eye-contact and flew . It was then that she knew it would soon be her mother's time - "Time to Go." Having an affinity for birds of prey, the artist employs alla prima techniques as she captures this heartfelt moment on canvas. Impressions of the family home, her mother in the window, and flowers in the gardens together help relay the beauty of a life well-lived.
