This is a painting of my daughter, who happens to have the most vivid imagination I've ever met. When she reads, she becomes fully immersed in the world she is learning about. I wanted to capture that childlike sense of wonder, something I feel we artists need well into our adulthood, in order to continue bringing beauty into the world.
